Each cup has a flat top for safely resting cups after cleaning.Each cup is made of thick, heavy walled glass and is designed for use by traditional Chinese fire cupping techniques. Heat or fire from a candle, disposable lighter, or burning cotton/alcohol ball held inside the cup and then removed is customarily used to create the vacuum. Bought this to try on a few of my athletes, they love it and has helped so much! The packaging was great, came in a huge styrofoam case with each glass snug in their own space and the whole box was easy to open, still use the styrofoam case to store them in. Arrived on time nothing wrong with it, my athletes have dropped a few and they are very durable and have yet to crack or break/shatter. Very great product thinking about ordering another set because it has become a popular treatment.
